Owner & Tour Guide
Elysa Crum, originally from New York, is a longtime Tucson resident. Her passion for food, education and an appreciation of Tucson’s culture and history inspired her to create Taste of Tucson Downtown. With the revitalization of Downtown, including an influx of new offices, housing, restaurants and the modern streetcar, this is the perfect time to explore & learn about our city. We are excited to lead foodies, families, friends, visitors and locals on our tour experiences. Book one of our tours today and see why Tucson is a UNESCO City of Gastronomy!
Janice was born in Boise, and has been a permanent resident of Tucson since 1980. After a career in Engineering, she chose to embrace her passions as a tour guide: sharing and interacting with other people. Janice is also a dessert Chef at a local Italian restaurant, makes custom jewelry, and creates quilling and painted artistic designs. Having run a mountaineering business early on in Idaho, she loves hiking, the outdoors, and wildlife.
Originally from Southern California, Angela first moved to Tucson to study journalism at the University of Arizona. Following her newspaper career (which included a few years as editor of the Tucson Citizen’s food section) she taught high school American History and English in Puerto Rico. Since 2005, she has worked in nonprofit communications and marketing in Tucson. Angela is an avid reader of history, sings with an a cappella choral ensemble, and enjoys bicycling The Loop.
Born in south central Kansas and after graduating from college, Ann taught school in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She moved to Tucson in 1978 and enjoyed an extensive career as a receptionist and business manager for an orthodontic practice. Upon retiring, she was offered the opportunity to assist on the tours which allowed her to continue to meet and interact with others and share her love of Tucson. Ann is also a volunteer barista at her church. She loves spending time with family, friends, walking, reading and road trips.
